Universal Chiropractic’s philosophy is based on the scientific fact that your body is a self-regulating, self-healing organism. Every function of your body is controlled by your nervous system, which includes your brain, spinal cord, and all the nerves of your body. Therefore, any condition that affects your body’s nervous system (communication pathways) will, by definition, negatively impact your body’s ability to function properly. We specialize in the treatment of the nervous system, the health of which profoundly impacts every function of your body.
Universal Chiropractic uses the standard procedure of examination to diagnose a patient's condition and arrive at a course of treatment. We use the same time-honored methods of consultation, case history, physical examination, orthopedic analysis, neurological analysis and x-ray examination as any other doctor. In addition, we provide a careful structural examination, paying particular attention to the bio-mechanics and the alignment of the body, and their impact on your communication pathways.
Beyond the chiropractic care that you receive, we will also assess your need for other supportive modalities. We offer massage therapy, laser therapy, electrical muscle stimulation, nutritional counseling, exercise and stretch programs, traction, and orthotics. Our team is dedicated to restoring your health, and we will use a specific combination of these, tailored to your needs, to help you accomplish your health goals.
